Is rent2own.net.nz rent-to-own or finance?
No. Despite the domain name, the product here is long-term car rental, not rent-to-own and not finance. You are renting the car. It stays ours. You can cancel and return it. Direct Car Imports Limited does not offer an ownership path through this site.
How much does weekly rental cost?
Weekly rent is $163. Insurance is $32 extra. That is $195 in total. No bond. You pay the first week’s rent in advance. We pay WOF, registration, and servicing when you bring the car to the yard.
Do you rent if finance was declined?
We rent to people who have been declined for car finance. This is still a rental arrangement, not a loan or credit product. Approval is subject to our checks and rental conditions.
Can I cancel and return the car?
Yes. You are renting the car. It stays ours. You can cancel and return it under the agreed rental terms.
